Vulcanizing cement for tire repair is used to join rubber components. This adhesive consists of elastic polymers, such as gum arabic or natural rubber, dissolved in a solution of toluene, acetone, benzene, chloroform, or heptane. As the solvent evaporates, the polymers harden to form a bond between the components.
HOPSON TYRE REPAIR® Vulcanizing cement for tire repair is different from rubber cement, HOPSON TYRE REPAIR® vulcanizing cement is a vulcanizing fluid, this vulcanizing fluid softens the surface of the rubber, allowing it to fuse to the patch. Ideally, the patch and tube should merge, w/o a clear border from one to the other. Rubber cement is a glue. It forms an adhesive layer that sticks the surfaces together.
This flammable vulcanizing Cement is made with a special formula that makes the rubber patch firmly stick to the tire. This fast-drying chemical vulcanizing cement contains accelerators, when coming into contact with the face gum any of our tire repair units or tire repair inserts will begin the vulcanizing process straight away. It cures tire and tube repairs with or without heat and comes with a brush in the can for easy application.

This non-flammable blue vulcanizing cement is an extra thick vulcanizing fluid for hot or cold applications. It is made with a special formula that makes the rubber patch firmly stick to the tire. This super high-strength cement is ideal for use with larger radial and bias patches. Blue in color so it is easily identifiable and allows precision application. Comes with a brush in the can for easy application.
